The Senate bill includes both private and home schooled children but the House bill only includes home schooled students. Both bills need to be heard in the Education Committee first. As this bill should provide equal access to all children, the Senate bill should be encouraged to pass. The best place to start is to contact the Senate Education Committee chair: Senator Kenny Mann (ask him to put this bill on the agenda for vote.) Contact information: kenny.mann@wvsenate.gov Capitol Phone: (304) 357-7849 Home Phone: (304) 646-6089 It is also important is to contact other Senate Education Committee Members, so they can put pressure on Senator Mann.
